Getting Ready For Tryouts (Hailey/Tyler)

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

Hailey was in the park in her uniform from the soccer team the year before as she kicked the ball around. Tryouts for the junior Varsity soccer team were in a few weeks and she needed to get back into the feel over the game. She continued to kick the ball around, smiling when it rolled to someone else's feet.

[Tyler Orton]

"Need any help training?"
Tyler asked, softly kicking the ball back over to her.

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

"Help would be nice," Hailey smiled.

[Tyler Orton]

Tyler smiled and rubbed the back of his neck.
"I'll be the ball boy then, I know nothing about soccer."
He admitted, laughing.

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

"I've played since I was six," Hailey smiled. "I'm Hailey Delessio-Hardy."

[Tyler Orton]

"I guess I'll start laying now, I'm Tyler Orton."

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

Hailey nodded. "Pass me back the ball," Hailey said.

Tyler passed it back.
"Not too hard."

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

"Okay," Hailey said as she started to kick it around. "Now try to take it from me."

Tyler stopped for a moment.
"Seriously?"

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

"Seriously," Hailey said, continuing to kick the ball.

Tyler shrugged and approached, moving slow before going for the ball.

Hailey kept control of the ball, constantly keeping it moving.

"Okay, tougher than it looks."
He said, catching his breath and trying again.

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

"Use the side of you foot and side swipe it," Hailey said.

[Tyler Orton]

Tyler followed her instructions and went for the ball again.

Hailey let her foot slip back, letting Tyler take control.

[Tyler Orton]

"Oh come on, you don't even look slightly entertained."
He said, smirking at her.

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

Hailey chuckled. "Now keep it away from me," Hailey said.

[Tyler Orton]

"Oh boy."
He muttered, starting to pass the ball back and forth to himself.

Hailey smiled, trying to regain the ball.

Tyler simply turned his back to her, protecting the ball.
"That's allowed, right?"

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

"Keep it moving," Hailey said.

[Tyler Orton]

Tyler started again, passing between to himself.

Hailey tried to regain the ball.
