Sometimes happy endings are just in fairy tales (Rai/Shan)

Rai pulled up to the house in shock. She walked inside and saw Shannon on the floor playing with the twins. She leaned against the doorway and watched. Matt jumped up and got on Shannon's back.

"Alright you monkey," Shannon laughed.

Matt did a headlock. "I did it!"

Rai laughed.

Shannon chuckled as he 'tried' to get free.

Matt pushed Shannon on the ground. "Mama count!" Rai tapped the wall three times. Matt got up and did his mom's rocker signs.

Shannon got up and shook his head. "You got me squirt," Shannon said.

Matt grinned then ran and hugged Rai's legs. "Mama you okay?" "Yes. Why don't you and your brother go outside and play with the dogs."

Brian nodded and ran off.

After Matt followed him Rai sat on the couch and leaned back. She closed her eyes.

Shannon sat down next to her.

"Went to the doctor." Rai said not opening her eyes.

"How'd it go?" Shannon asked.

Rai pulled out the paper saying she was pregnant and handed it to Shannon not opening her eyes.

Shannon red the paper, smiled and hugged Rai.

Rai opened her eyes. She looked at him. "Your not upset?"

"No, why would I be?" Shannon asked.

Rai shrugged.

[Hailey Delessio-Hardy]

"I'd never be upset over this Rai," Shannon said.

Rai moved to sit on his lap. She laid her head on his chest. "They say I'm four weeks. I have to be careful of stress cause I can miscarry if I get stressed out."

Shannon nodded.

Rai snuggled into his chest.

Shannon held her close.

Rai heard the doorbell ring.


Julie stood on the other side of the door.

"I'll get it," Shannon said.

Rai nodded and got off his lap. She laid down on the couch.
