A Checkup for Daddy

Destiny giggled as she sat in her father's bedroom. She had the whole room set up to play doctor with her father.

Cheyenne smiled when Adam came through the door from his signing. "Hey baby, when was the last timeyou had a checkup?" Cheyenne asked, cracking a smile.

Adam looked at her confused. "What do you mean?"

[Cheyenne Copeland]

"Just answer the question Addy," Cheyenne said.

"About a month ago." Adam said as he sat his bag down.

Cheyenne grinned widely. "Come with me baby," Cheyenne said.

Adam followed her still confused about what was going on.

Cheyenne opened their bedroom door to reveal the setup Destiny planned.

Realization dawned on Adam and he laughed. "Oh."

"You can be a real blonde at times Addy," Cheyenne said.

"Sorry."

[Cheyenne Copeland]

"No need, have fun you two," Cheyenne said, leaving Adam alone with "doctor" Copeland.

Adam smiled at his daughter. "So Dr. Copeland I'm here for my check up."

"Come lay down over here and we'll start," Destiny said.

Adam took off his shoes and jacket then laid down on his bed.

Destiny smiled, picking up a toy thermometer.

Adam looked at her and smiled. "So what are we going to check today?"

[Cheyenne Copeland]

"Just the easy stuff," Destiny said. "Open up."

[Adam Copeland]

Adam laughed slightly then opened his mouth and closed it around the toy thermometer. He rested his head on the his clasped hands that were above him.

Destiny smiled.

Adam crossed his eyes quickly and stifled his laugh.

[Cheyenne Copeland]

Destiny gently pulled the toy thermometer from Adam's mouth. "Uh oh," Destiny said.

"What's wrong?"

[Cheyenne Copeland]

"You gots a fever," Destiny said.

[Adam Copeland]

"I do? Well then what do I need to do?" Adam asked as he looked up at his daughter.

[Cheyenne Copeland]

"Well, I'll take a look at you some more then we'll see," Destiny said.
