Another Side of Me

To the WWE Universe "The Miz" would never enjoy a simple walk through the park. However that's exactly what Mike Mizanin did when he needed to unwind. Walking through the maze of pathways he stared up at the sky with his hands in his pockets. He would soon find out he wasn't alone.

[Maryse]

The French Diva had been out in the park area, simply in need to just "get away." She blamed most of it on a bad break-up she had went through a few days ago and though the blonde had been known for being filled with cocky arrogance - she had been feeling now more low and vulnerable than ever before.

Maryse stood in the maze of the park, not expecting to see anyone now that it was getting dark. She quietly sniffled to herself - a bit too loudly as she soon noticed a familiar face.

"Oh, Mike." She said startled as she slightly turned away and wiped under her eye.

[Mike Mizanin]

"Maryse?" Mike asked softly. "Are you okay?" he questioned the blonde, his voice full of concern.

[Maryse]

Maryse sniffled once more before she wiped her face completely dry with her fingers.

"Yes, I'm fine." She told without looking at him.

[Mike Mizanin]

"You don't have to lie Maryse," Mike said. "You know you can talk to me."

[Maryse]

"I can't like this." She said as she met eye to eye with him. Her eyes were now a sore red. Maryse had always hated showing her vulnerability to anyone.

Mike sighed. He understood why Maryse hated being seen this way. He was exactly the same way.

[Maryse]

Maryse ran her fingers through her hair and looked up toward the night's sky and attempted to get lost into the sight of it.

Mike sighed.

[Maryse]

After hesitation, Maryse finally spoke.

"Ugh. I hate men, you know? Such cowards and pigs."

[Mike Mizanin]

"Not all of us," Mike said.

[Maryse]

"The ones I've met are." She told.

[Mike Mizanin]

"I'm not," Mike said.

[Maryse]

"Well, perhaps just every man I have dated is."

[Mike Mizanin]

"I could change that," Mike said.

[Maryse]

Maryse stared with interest. "Oh? How so?"

[Mike Mizanin]

"Well....um........how would you like to come to dinner with me tomorrow?" Mike asked.

[Maryse]

She shrugged.

"It would depend where we would be dining. McDonalds is not an option."

[Mike Mizanin]

"Of course not, not for a classy lady like you," Mike smiled.

[Maryse]

She smirked.

"Hm. So we do agree on something, then."

[Mike Mizanin]

"I know this really nice place by my house," Mike said.

[Maryse]

"Well, I am free tomorrow night."

[Mike Mizanin]

"Great, so when should I pick you up?" Mike asked.

[Maryse]

"How about 9?"

[Mike Mizanin]

"Sounds great," Mike smiled.
