Kiara stood by the walk in closet as she finished adjusting her top. She was supposed to work on her debut album that morning. She turned a worried eye toward her boyfriend as she watched him tossing and turning in his sleep. He was never like this. He never slept this late and he normally slept comfortably. Kiara walked over and sat on the edge of the bed beside her boyfriend, and gently shook his shoulder.

“John?” Kiara said softly. “Sweetheart wake up.”

John bolted up with a start. He took a few deep breaths.

He looked at her then nodded. "Just remembering some stuff." He leaned back and sighed. "What time is it?"

"11:30 Johnny," Kiara said. She placed a hand on John's forehead. "Baby, you're burning up!"

John crossed his arms. "I'm fine. I can't let Rai down. She needs help."

John's phone rang. He looked at her with a smile. "That's Rai's ringtone. You tell her I can't come help her."

"Hey Kiara it's Rai listen can you tell Nitro that I can't make it to the gym. Dave wants some bonding time and I have some personal things to do."

Kiara gently shoved John back down. "Dave wanted to spend some time with her," Kiara said.

"That and she probably wanted to start her friends with benefits status with Randy again." John muttered as he looked up at his girlfriend. "Why do I have to stay in bed?"
