Rai nodded in understanding and pulled up to the house. She went into the garage. "Shan can you get the twins ready for bed?"

Rai unbuckled them then sat them on the ground. Matt ran and latched onto Shan's leg.

Rai watched them then looked at Alexa. "How old are you?"

"Do you have any other family we can get ahold of?" Rai asked going to the dryer and taking out some dry clothes. "Here these might be a bit big but they are dry."

Alexa shook her head. "They all disowned me," Alexa muttered.

"Let's get you cleaned up, fed, and you get some sleep. We'll talk in the morning okay." Rai said heading towards the inside of the house.

"Daddy Shan why is mamma helping that girl?" Matt asked as he struggled to put his pajama top on.

Shannon helped Matt pull the top on.

"I don't know buddy," Shannon said.

Rai led her to a guest bedroom and that had a bathroom. "Everything you need is under the sink. I'll heat you up some left overs." Rai said as she started towards the kitchen.

Matt hugged Shannon and kissed his cheek. "Night Daddy Shan." He then climbed into his bed.

Rai went through the fridge. Something about that girl seemed familiar. She started to fix a plate and put it in the microwave.

Matt covered up and closed his eyes.

Rai went to him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She stood on tip toe and kissed him. "So why did you call me Raina?"
