Just Stopping By (Maria/Derek)

[Derek Hayes]

Derek used to the key he had to enter the home of his girlfriend Maria. He had heard that she was home from touring overseas and decided to stop by and see her. Closing and locking the door behind him, he looked around the downstairs of the house for her. With no sign of her, Derek dropped the keys on the kitchen counter before he headed upstairs.

Walking down the hallway that led to Maria's bedroom, Derek smiled when he walked inside and saw the red headed Diva asleep in bed.

Smirking to himself, Derek got on the bed, hovering over her before he kissed Maria lightly on the lips.

"Hey Sleeping Beauty." Derek said softly.

[Trish Stratus]

"Hey," Maria said weakly, coughing a bit.

Derek raised up and sat to the side of Maria on the bed with his back against the headboard

"You okay?" He asked.

[Trish Stratus]

"I feel like shit," Maria moaned.

[Derek Hayes]

Derek chuckled as he pulled Maria into his arms.

"Care to be a bit more specific?" He asked.

[Trish Stratus]

"My head is spinning, my throat hurts, and my stomach is killing me," Maria said. "I was up puking all night."

Derek nodded his head as he rubbed Maria's back.

"Not what I was expecting when I came over." Derek said. "Anything I can do?"

[Trish Stratus]

"Just lie here with me?" Maria asked.

[Derek Hayes]

"That I can do." Derek said.

Maria nodded and coughed.

Derek continued to rub Maria's back.

Maria sighed.

"Shit," Maria said. "I'm supposed to meet my vocal coach in an hour!"

"I don't think that's going to happen." Derek said.

[Trish Stratus]

"I have to," Maria said as she tried to get up.

[Derek Hayes]

Derek pulled Maria back down so that she was laying on his chest.

"That can wait. You just need to get better." Derek said.

[Trish Stratus]

"Fine," Maria said.

[Derek Hayes]

"You're going to work yourself to death Ria." Derek said.

[Trish Stratus]

Maria shrugged.

[Derek Hayes]

"That isn't a good thing." Derek said.

(Brb. Going to go eat.)

"I HAVE to work Derek," Maria said.

[Derek Hayes]

"Not all the time." Derek said.

[Trish Stratus]

"Fine," Maria said.

[Derek Hayes]

"You barely see me." Derek said. "And I miss you like crazy."

[Trish Stratus]

"I know, I miss you too sweetie," Maria said.

[Derek Hayes]

"Starting to think you're getting sick of me since you want to work so much." Derek joked.
