It's Not Fair! (Cailynn and Jeff)

[Cailynn Sawyer]

Cailynn curled up on her bed and cried. She'd just got a call from her step-dad that her mom was in the hospital again. She couldn't handle all this at once.

Jeff came home worried when Cailynn didn't pick up the phone. "Cailynn?'

"Jeffie?" Cailynn sniffled from the bedroom.

Jeff heard her crying and went up the stairs and into the bedroom. He laid down beside her. "What's wrong?"

"My mom's in the hospital again," Cailynn said, breaking down again.

Jeff pulled her close and rubbed her back.

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"It's not fair Jeff," Cailynn said.

"I know it's not." Jeff said as he rubbed her back.

"Seven years of 'Oh it's this cancer, oh it's that cancer, oh it's not cancer at all but we don't know what it is", fucking quack doctors!" Cailynn was getting more and more upset.

Jeff held her close rubbing her back.

"Aren't they supposed to know about this kind of stuff?" Cailynn sniffled.

"They are but sometimes they don't know."

"I gotta go to the bathroom," Cailynn said. She slipped into the master bathroom and locked the door. She knew what she need to do. Rolling up her sleeve she pulled the razor she'd taped to her mirror off and held it to her arm.

Jeff got up and knocked on the door. "Don't even think about it Cailynn."

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"Leave me alone!" Cailynn began to weep again, starting with a small cut below the crease of her elbow.

Jeff started banging on the door. "Damn it Cailynn you fucking promised."

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"I need it Jeff!" Cailynn cried. "It hurts too much, I can't take it!"

"You don't fucking need it." Jeff went downstairs and grabbed a screwdriver. He ran up the stairs and popped the pins out of the hinges and opened the door. He took the razor from her and threw it out. "What the fuck are you thinking!" Jeff yelled.

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"It fucking hurts Jeff!" Cailynn cried. "It fucking hurts so damn bad!"

[Jeff Hardy]

"Then fucking swing at me." Jeff lifted her arm. "You swore for Hailey's sake you would stop doing this shit. How many more are there?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"That.....that's it I swear," Cailynn said. "Jeff........help me, help me stop please." She looked up at him, her blue eyes pleading. "Please?"

[Jeff Hardy]

Jeff sat her down and took care of the cut. "It's not to deep." He started to clean it.

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"I'm sorry," Cailynn said softly.

Jeff nodded but didn't say a word.

"Jeff.....talk to me please, scream at me, yell at me, lecture me I don't care, just........don't shut me out," Cailynn pleaded.
