Need You Now (Cailynn/Jeff)

Cailynn had never felt so horrible in her life. Her body burned from an excessively high fever. Sweat poured off of every inch of her pale skin, though she shivered from chills. She glanced at the clock sighing when he saw the time on it’s screen. 2:45. Her fiance Jeff Hardy, wasn't due home from his appearance until four.

She hadn’t thought anything of it when she woke up that morning with a nagging burning sensation in the back of her throat, but since Jeff had left it had become increasingly worse. Cailynn could barely speak now and she was finding herself incredibly queasy. She’d practically lived on the bathroom floor for the past two hours as round after round of retching racked her aching form. Still, there she was lying on the cold, tiled, bathroom floor, resting her head on the side of the bathtub. She reached for his cell phone as it sat on the sink countertop. Holding it weakly in her hand she battled with the decision of whether or not to call Jeff and ask him to come home.

“I know the minute he finds out I’m like this he’ll drag me right to that stupid hospital,” Cailynn thought. “There’s no way I’m going to the hospital, no way in hell.”

Jeff pulled up to his house glad that he was able to get home early.

Cailynn was still on the bathroom floor.

Jeff went into the house and up the stairs. "Babe you home?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"Jeff," Cailynn coughed weakly, retching again.

[Jeff Hardy]

Jeff went into the master bathroom. "Babe you okay?" He held her hair back.

After the retching subsided, Cailynn leaned back into Jeff's arms breathing heavily.

"You okay?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"I'm fine," Cailynn muttered, trying to stand.

Jeff helped her up. "Babe your burning up."

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"I'm fine," Cailynn muttered, stumbling toward the bedroom

Jeff picked her up. "Your not fine."

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"Yes I am," Cailynn said.

[Jeff Hardy]

"No your not."

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"Jeff, just let me go to bed," Cailynn said.

Jeff sighed and laid her on the bed.

Cailynn curled up.

He rubbed her back.

"I feel like shit," Cailynn whimpered.

"Want me to get you something?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

Cailynn shook her head.

[Jeff Hardy]

"Where's Hailey?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"With Matt," Cailynn coughed.

[Jeff Hardy]

Jeff nodded and rubbed her back.

Cailynn moaned and wondered how long she could keep Jeff from taking her to the hospital.
