The Hardest Part of Parenthood (Cailynn/Jeff/Hailey)

As much as Cailynn hated to admit it Hailey was sick and needed a doctor. Getting the child to the doctor had never been an easy task.

Jeff sat his gym bag down as he walked in. "What's going on?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"Hailey's still sick Jeff, I think it's time." Cailynn said.

[Jeff Hardy]

"You do know she is going to throw a fit right?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"I know I know," Cailynn said. "She's been asking for you."

Jeff nodded and looked around. "Where is she?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"In her room," Cailynn said.

Jeff nodded and went into Hailey's room. "Hey sweetie how are you feeling?"

"No feel good daddy," Hailey whimpered, reaching for Jeff.

Jeff scooped her up and held her close. "I know baby."

Hailey snuggled close to Jeff, whimpereing.

Jeff rubbed her back. "Do you trust daddy to take you somewhere so that you can feel better?"

"No doctor," Hailey said. "They hurt me."

"Sweetie daddy knows that you don't like the doctors but I promise that they will make you all better."

[Cailynn Sawyer]

Hailey squirmed. "No go!" Hailey said.

"Sweetie daddy knows you don't but do you want to still be sick?"

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"No, but they hurt me daddy," Hailey whined.

[Jeff Hardy]

"If you go to the doctors with daddy and mommy we will go get icecream and then later I will take you to go see Aunt Rai and Uncle Matt."

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"No, their just gonna poke me!" Hailey said. "Pokey hurt!"

[Jeff Hardy]

"They won't hurt you." Jeff said trying to reason with his daughter.

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"Pwomise?" Hailey asked.

[Jeff Hardy]

"Yes I promise." Jeff said with a sigh of relief.

[Cailynn Sawyer]

"Otay," Hailey said. "but you no put me down, me stay with you."

[Jeff Hardy]

"Ok that daddy can do." Jeff said as he walked into the living room.

"We ready to go?" Cailynn asked.
